Certifications: Acupuncture, Prescriptive Authority
I grew up in the small town of Fort Erie, Ontario just outside of Niagara Falls. I attended the University of Guelph where I obtained my Honours Degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics with a minor in Developmental Psychology. From there I moved to Toronto to spend the next four years studying Naturopathic Medicine at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM). While at CCNM I was actively involved with the school and spent two years on the Student Council. Also at CCNM I gained valuable clinical experience working with patients at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic, the Parkdale Community Health Centre and externed in Rossland, BC.
I have a special interest in Women's Health and Digestive Health and address these concerns through diet and lifestyle counselling, botanicals, acupuncture and nutritional supplementation. After CCNM, I moved to beautiful Kimberley, British Columbia to embrace a healthy and active lifestyle in the outdoors through hiking, skiing, biking and tennis. I also have a passion for healthy cooking and love to try new recipes whenever I can. I utilize both research based medicine as well as appreciating the mind body connection to ensure the patient receives a holistic approach to treatment.
I also practice in Cranbrook on Wednesdays at 911 Baker St.
