Dr. Aislynn Hunt, MSc, ND is a second-generation naturopathic physician who aims to empower patients on their journey to optimal wellness through education, support and community. She was born and raised in the West Kootenay region of BC and through this developed a deep appreciation for community, nature and a balanced lifestyle. Her inspiration to pursue naturopathic medicine as a career occurred following her diagnosis with an autoimmune disorder in 2017 and she went on to complete her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine training at Boucher-CCNM in New Westminster.
Dr. Hunt is passionate about addressing autoimmune disorders and complex chronic disease from a compassionate, holistic and evidence-based perspective. When working with patients, she takes the time to listen to their story and understand their goals so she can uncover the root cause of their concern. She addresses all facets of a patient’s well-being, frequently incorporating dietary and lifestyle modifications into their individualized treatment plans. She loves using herbal medicine and intravenous therapy as well to create sustainable change in her patient’s health. Dr. Hunt has additional certifications in acupuncture, prescriptive authority, IV therapy and ozone therapy. As an avid learner, she frequently engages in opportunities to expand her knowledge to provide the most up-to-date and best quality care for her patients.
Outside of work, she’s often spending time with family and friends, at the gym or doing yoga. She loves getting into nature, whether it’s hiking, canoeing or skiing. She also enjoys quiet days spent reading, baking or meditating. Check out her Instagram @dr.aislynnhunt to learn more!
