At the Centre of Clinical Excellence for Veterans and First Responders Health (CCE) we are dedicated to providing exceptional care to Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) & Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Veterans, First Responders, Military personnel, and their families. Our clinic offers comprehensive mental and physical health support through both in-person and virtual care, delivered by a diverse team of practitioners and specialists.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Patient-Centred Care: Provide patient-focused naturopathic care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning that considers the individual's unique needs and wellness goals.
- Holistic Approach: Employ a holistic approach that integrates modern scientific knowledge with natural forms of treatment.
- Personalized Treatment: Create and customize treatment plans that set measurable goals and prioritize overall patient well-being.
- Group Work: Lead virtual group sessions within a program framework, facilitating discussion and connecting with participants effectively.
- Strong Presentation Skills: Deliver engaging virtual presentations, utilizing excellent communication skills to facilitate discussions and connect with diverse audiences.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate with fellow practitioners to develop comprehensive patient-centred treatment plans and ensure coordinated care.
- Digital Documentation: Utilize our electronic health records software to maintain accurate treatment records and submit reports to stakeholders.
- Assessments: Conduct assessments for suitability to participate in specific programs and services, ensuring individuals meet specific criterion for safe & relevant participation or care.
- Community Engagement: Work closely with the CCE team and other healthcare practitioners to address patient needs and achieve outstanding client outcomes.
- Education and Consulting: Provide consulting and educational services as required, promoting patient empowerment and knowledge about their well-being.
- Virtual and In-Person Care: Deliver both in-person and virtual care, adapting your approach to meet the needs of each patient.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduation from a naturopathic medical school accredited by the Council on Naturopathic Medical Education (CNME).
- Current registration with and licensing from the College of Naturopathic Physicians of British Columbia (CNPBC).
- New grads welcome!
- Experience supporting populations dealing with mental health, PTSD, trauma, addiction, chronic pain, and brain injury.
- Passion for collaborating with experts from various fields to offer multifaceted care.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Proficient with technology and experienced in using an EMR, preferably OSCAR Pro.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development.
- Compassion, empathy, and a dedication to providing high-quality, culturally sensitive care.
